MoDOT and External Civil Rights Division names Thomas Industrial Coatings Sub-Contractor of the Year

We're both honored and excited to announce that we were just named Sub-Contractor of the Year for our Heavy Highway Industry work by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and the Extrernal Civil Rights Division. The award was given today, April 17, at the 2012 Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Contract Compliance Workshop Award Luncheon Ceremony at Hotel Phillips in Kansas City, Missouri.

Each year, the two-day EEO workshop offers a host of panels, discussions, guest speakers, and learning and networking opportunities focusing on contract compliance. This year, topics included enginnering policy guidelines, thoughts from the Statewide Inclusion Advisory Council, MoDOT's DBE Supportive Services, the bid process and contractor-compliance programming.
