Thomas Industrial Coatings was hired to execute this project for the Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co.

The scope of work on this project was to perform surface preparation and recoat the hulls on both a dredge and an idler barge. The work was performed while they were dry-docked in Hartford, Illinois. The two-coat system was applied in order to prevent river water and other obstructions from coming into direct contact with the hull’s substrate.
