This project involved abrasive blasting and the recoating of the interior and exterior sections of the Tainter gates at the lower end of each gate. The general contractor refurbished and replaced sections prior to our work. All work took place from the river using barges and work platforms.

Lock and Dam #24 is located near Clarksville, Missouri on the Mississippi. The main lock is 100 feet wide and 600 feet long. This facility was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
