The history of Thomas Industrial Coatings, Inc.

We’ve never really been ones to sit around and watch the paint dry. And that’s quite apparent from our history.

We’re proud of the strides we’ve made at just a relatively young age. Below are just a few of the highlights.

  • 1991 – Thomas Industrial Coatings was incorporated. We made approximately $2 million in sales that first year.
  • 1994 – We landed a $12.8 million joint-venture project for the I-70 bridge over the Missouri River in Rocheport, Missouri.
  • 1996 – Thomas Industrial Coatings, Inc. moved into its newly constructed home office, officially calling Pevely, Missouri home.
  • 2000 – Thomas surpassed $20 million in annual sales.
  • 2006 – We landed one of our biggest projects to date. It was the $16.2 million Huey P. Long Bridge widening project in New Orleans.
  • 2007 – Federal Government allotted MODOT to have three design-build projects to be completed between 2007-2013. Thomas participated in all.
  • 2009 – We landed $11 million multi-tank project at the Naval Station in Point Loma, California.
